Job Responsibilities
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Conduct research in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, and Plant Science.
- Work on plant genetics and agricultural biotechnology projects.

Young Professional II (YP II):
- Engage in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Agronomy research.
- Support research projects related to millet crop improvement.
- Analyze agricultural data and prepare reports.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Post-Graduate in Basic Sciences (Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Plant Science) OR
- Post-Graduate in Professional Course (Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Agricultural Biotechnology) with 60% marks.
- Young Professional II (YP II):
- Masters in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Agronomy & related Agricultural Sciences from a recognized university.
Age Limit (as of the respective dates)
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Maximum 35 years (as on 15-04-2025).
- Young Professional II (YP II): Age limit 21 to 45 years (as on 10-04-2025).
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
