Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SOX engagements for various business processes.
- Conduct process walkthroughs and prepare process flow documentation.
- Identify process gaps and suggest recommendations for improvement.
- Perform test of design and operating effectiveness of controls.
- Document testing workpapers as per EY’s quality standards.
- Participate in SOX scoping, control rationalization, and standardization.
- Engage with clients and key stakeholders to understand business processes and risks.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Guide and mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year (CA) or 3 years (others) in SOX audits, internal controls, or related fields.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and COSO framework.
- Experience in SAP risk & controls (SAP S/4 HANA transformation preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- High level of attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certification in relevant modules.
- Prior experience in a Big 4 firm.
- Understanding of financial reporting risks and best practices.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
